Series Runner was introduced to the public in 2011 by its founder Founder Darryll Whaley who recognized a need in the running community for a series-based challenge and an easy way for runners to participate. Darryll is an avid outdoorsman, having competed in the Kona Ironman, numerous ultramarathons, and is a mountain climber. Darryll is an excellent community builder and has developed a top notch team that has grown the series across the western region and beyond. Race directors and runners alike agree that the series is a great challenge that brings communities together both locally and across states.
